Michael Marson and Steve Gates have endured a spectacular crash during the fifth round of the Australian Off Road Championship in Queensland.

The duo’s Pro Buggy rolled end-for-end after landing nose-first from a jump near the finish line of the prologue stage

Gates has been taken to hospital for observation while Marson walked away unscathed.

Shannon Rentsch set the fastest time through the prologue stage ahead of Jack Rhodes and Michael Collins.
